ShiftStep is a three-step stainless-steel boat trailer ladder with three ladder angles—60°, 70° or 80°—and 16 horizontal mounting positions at 22.5° intervals. Slide the base along your trailer beam and combine these adjustments to position the steps for convenient access around the bow, winch and other equipment.

Every boat and trailer combination is different. ShiftStep lets you adjust where the ladder sits, which way it faces and how steeply it rises.
Together, these adjustments help you find a position with clearance around the bow, winch, trolling motor and other equipment. Available positions depend on your trailer layout. Secure all adjustments before use.
Stainless steel, down to the hardware
ShiftStep combines an SS304 stainless-steel structure with stainless-steel bolts, nuts, washers and mounting components.
The rectangular mast supports three 280 mm wide steps, each fitted with an anti-slip pad. The base clamps around the trailer beam, so installation requires no drilling or welding of the trailer.
Designed and manufactured by DonMarine in Bulgaria, with direct help available for fitment and installation.
Will ShiftStep fit your trailer?
Measure the outside width and height of the beam where you want to mount the ladder.
Open C-channel beams are not suitable. Shorter or longer mounting bolts are available on request.

Installation overview
Fit the supports to the base, place it on the beam and attach the mounting bolts and lower clamps. Add the mounting bracket, mast and steps, leaving the adjustment fasteners loose until you have chosen the final position.
Check the ladder’s position, direction and angle, then tighten all fasteners to the values in the installation manual.

Do I need to modify my trailer?
No drilling or welding is required. ShiftStep clamps around a suitable closed square or rectangular trailer beam.
Can I adjust it around my winch or trolling motor?
The sliding base, indexed direction settings and three ladder angles give you several ways to position it. Check the available space around your equipment before ordering.
My beam is taller than 80 mm. Can I still fit it?
Longer mounting bolts are available on request. Send us the beam width, height and a photo so we can help check the installation.
Does it arrive assembled?
Assembly and positioning on your trailer are required. The illustrated manual explains the installation sequence and final tightening.
Is delivery included in the price?
Shipping is charged separately and calculated at checkout.
