1. Shipping & Logistics

Do you ship outside of the EU? Yes. We ship to international destinations, including the United States, United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland. Shipping costs for these regions are calculated individually, and customers should contact us directly for a quote.
Hidden fees within the EU? No. We offer free shipping on selected products across all EU member states. For these items, the price shown on the product page is the final delivered price, meaning there are no hidden costs or surprises at checkout.
Customs & Import Duties For orders within the EU, there are no import taxes or customs fees as we ship locally. For international orders outside the EU, customers are responsible for any additional import taxes, duties, or fees applied by their specific country.

2. Product & Technical Specifications

Max Engine Power Our stainless steel manual jackplates are rated for outboard engines up to 200 HP.
Weight Limit Yes, the maximum outboard weight capacity is 260 kg.
Stainless vs. Aluminum Unlike common aluminum jackplates, our models are built from heavy-duty 5mm stainless steel (AISI 304). This construction offers significantly higher strength and superior resistance to corrosion. Marine-grade 316 is available upon request.
Performance Benefits A jackplate can improve top-end speed (often by 10–15%), provide faster planing (hole shot), and improve fuel economy by reducing water drag on the lower unit.

3. Installation & Maintenance

Professional Installation While we provide a detailed manual with every unit, we strongly recommend professional installation to ensure the product is mounted according to marine safety standards.
Corrosion Protection Every jackplate comes equipped with a pre-installed sacrificial anode. Inspect the anode every 6 months and replace it at 50% wear. We offer Zinc, Magnesium, and Aluminum anodes.
Regular Maintenance Periodically apply marine grease to the lifting screw and bronze nut. Check and retighten all bolts after the first 5 hours of use and periodically thereafter.

4. Returns & Refunds

Return Policy We offer a voluntary 30-day return period, which exceeds the statutory European Union requirement of 14 days.
Return Shipping The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item arrived defective or was incorrect.
Custom Products No. Custom products, including special orders or personalized items, are non-returnable.

Where Manufactured? All DonMarine jackplates are engineered and manufactured within the European Union (Bulgaria) under strict quality and safety standards.
EU Compliance Yes. Our jackplates comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).
